“ TURN THERE!” Mom yells just as dad misses the turn

“ There’s a sign that says cafe let’s go there”

So dad backs up the truck and takes the turn.

We drive for 5 minutes before we dead end right on the Mekong river.

As we step out of the truck the lush colourful cafe and hotel with bright, fluffy fake trees pops into view and we head straight in.

The trees look like they came straight out of the Lorax movie and popped up here!

The colour draws your eye to them every time you look up and you can’t help but notice.

They’re obviously fake but they look so plush and fluffy it makes you want to make a bed out of them and take a long nap.

Maybe I can persuade mom to find some at home to put in my room!
