In a week my baby that i have fed and taken care of for 4 months is being taken to town. From there on i don’t know what ‘s going to happen to him and where he’s going to go and if he’s going to live.

i just keep wondering… Is he going to be able to eat enough to live? Is he going to die soon after going? or is he going to be just another cow for the meat plants?

i don’t know, and after taking care of him for the first 4 months of his life it’s hard to think about that.

I know the other option is to keep him for another two years and then butcher him, but that seems so much harder then just selling him.

also even if we kept him there’s the chance that he wont be able to eat the hay and will just starve to death… that just makes me want to cry.

it’s going to be hard to let him go but i know it’s got to happen.

Talk again soon – Pip
